Civil engineer gets $3.2M for siding repair

The Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Association has received a $3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support civil engineering projects for homeowners in the Southern Tier of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The funding will support the construction of the Siegel Civil Engineering Center, a facility that will be used to develop, install, and maintain civil engineering-related building materials, according to a press release from the association.

The Civil Engineering Department is dedicated to assisting local governments, communities, and homeowners in their development of new, innovative, and innovative ways to address the challenges of flood and storm damage.
